Tech Transformations

In Commercial Construction, Real Estate and Architectural Design

by Beth Hester

From digital twins to AI-powered workflows, architects, builders and developers are leveraging emerging technologies to streamline processes, boost creativity and increase efficiencies across the full project lifecycle. As innovation reshapes the built environment, industries are considering the ways in which projects are conceived, coordinated and completed.

In this tech-centric issue of CoVaBIZ, we’re reaching out to regional industry leaders to discover how they’re integrating new tools and technologies into their day-to-day workflows. We tailored questions specifically for each firm and encouraged them to respond in their own voices. Earlier in this issue, Ross Morgan, Portsmouth & REFG President, TowneBank spoke to the use of new technologies in the commercial real estate lending process. Here, we’re gaining perspectives from leaders in the fields of construction and architectural design.

A big shout out to the respondents for sharing their insights: The Breeden Company, GuernseyTingle Architects, Work Program Architects (WPA), and VIA Design Architects.
