Taste Unlimited Acquires Cuisine and Company

by CoVaBizMag

Cuisine and Company, the full-service catering and event-planning business founded by Louise Nagourney in 1981, announced its agreement to become part of Taste Unlimited LLC, best known for their TASTE stores throughout Coastal Virginia and Richmond. Both companies are headquartered in Virginia Beach.

Cuisine is one of the most successful catering companies in Virginia, coordinating hundreds of catered events from the Outer Banks to Washington, D.C., all carefully planned and executed by a staff of approximately 100. Cuisine also operates Wisteria, a full-service restaurant at the Chrysler Museum of Art, as well as the Cuisine at Slover bistro located in Norfolk’s Slover Library.

Cuisine will continue to operate as a separate division within the TASTE family of businesses. Concurrent with the Cuisine acquisition, TASTE is forming the TASTE Hospitality Group (THG) to serve as the management and shared services provider for the 17 unique but affiliated specialty food businesses that compromise the TASTE family of businesses.
