Selden Market Tenants Expand Business

by CoVaBizMag

Selden Market in Downtown Norfolk, a small business market with local shops, food, rotating pop-ups and community events, announced two storefront tenants are graduating from the retail incubator while the Market provides two new opportunities for lease this spring.

Velvet Witch, which opened at Selden Market in 2017 as an incubator, has recently found a new location as a stand-alone storefront at 619 Colonial Ave. in Norfolk that will open in April. Surplus by Skate Supply, a mentor tenant that has been with Selden Market for two years, will focus on renovating its flagship store at 801 Volvo Pkwy. in Chesapeake. Selden Market has been instrumental to both businesses' goals for expansion.

Both shops will be open at Selden Market through March 28, while applications are now being reviewed for retail and services businesses for the available storefronts.
