Parks Zeigler and The Law Office of Shelly F. Wood, P.C. announced their merger effective Jan. 1, 2020. The merger adds a Chesapeake location to Parks Zeigler and gives Shelly F. Wood a Virginia Beach office to serve her clients. Wood will be the managing partner of the new Chesapeake office located near the court complex.
The merger will benefit the clients of both firms as Parks Zeigler obtains the expertise of Wood, a seasoned and respected family law and criminal practitioner. Wood’s clients now have access to the resources and practice areas of Parks Zeigler, including civil litigation, commercial transactions, personal injury/medical malpractice, consumer/credit representation and wills, trusts and estates. Wood along with Parks Zeigler will now have nine attorneys and 13 staff in the two cities.
