Keep Virginia Beautiful (KVB) has announced its “30 Grants in Thirty Days” recipients for 2017 each day in the month of June. This year, KVB awarded 35 grants in the amounts of $500 to $2,000.
These grants were given to primary and secondary schools, colleges, parks, counties and towns, environmental groups, associations and Keep America Beautiful affiliates in four different categories: Litter Prevention, Recycling, Cigarette Litter Prevention, and Community Beautification. Grants were given locally to the following organizations: askHRGreen.org, Seatack Elementary, Lynnhaven River NOW, Waste Watchers of Eastern Shore, Walsingham Academy, Healthy Suffolk, Keep James City County Beautiful, Buckroe Improvement League and Keep Virginia Beach Beautiful.
