Valve manufacturer, Dante Valve Company, recently announced a $1.9 million investment to expand operations in the City of Norfolk.
"Dante Valve is eager to expand our operation in Norfolk," said Lisa Dante Papini, president of Dante Valve. "The Commonwealth of Virginia, and specifically the Hampton Roads area, has a strong talent base that aligns with our company’s requirements. Virginia’s business-friendly policies also factored into our decision."
The family-owned, international manufacturer and distributor of valves and related products will add 10,000 square feet to its facility at 1324 Ballentine Blvd., increasing production and creating 40 new jobs.
"Dante Valve’s continued investment in Hampton Roads sends a clear message that manufacturers know they have a strong partner in our Commonwealth," said Governor Ralph Northam in a statement. "A Mid-Atlantic location with close proximity to the world’s largest naval base in Norfolk positions the company to reach target markets and better fulfill the needs of its customers."
