The Special Olympics Virginia's 28th Polar Plunge Festival was held on Feb. 7–8 at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. More than 4,000 participants raised a record-breaking $1.35 million for the organization, making it the event's 10th million-dollar year.
Plungers bravely took a dip in the Atlantic during the festival to raise funds for Special Olympics Virginia, while many participated in 4- and 1-mile run/walks along the boardwalk to support the cause.
