The Mariners’ Museum and Park encourages its members and guests to “Fill the Boat!” A 12-foot boat has been placed near the Museum’s admission desk where guests can drop off their non-perishable food donations with a goal of filling up the boat all the way before the month’s end. The Virginia Peninsula Foodbank with also adorn the statues of Lions Bridge with orange ribbons in The Mariners’ Museum Park to promote awareness of September’s notable cause.
