by Ryan Miller

On March 23 at Eagle's Nest in Virginia Beach, more than 200 people gathered and raised a pint and over $11,000 in proceeds to find a cure for MS during the AB Cares 5th annual Pints for a Purpose night.

Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group is currently celebrating its 20 year anniversary and has been supporting the MS Society since the company began. Atlantic Bay, a National Multiple Sclerosis Society Chairman's Circle Member, has raised over a million dollars for the MS Society since 1999.

Raffle options included a Hot House Yoga package, Mermaid Factory Paint Night gift card, restaurant gift cards and more.

Pints for a Purpose is a fun night where attendees can enjoy music, food and of course pints. The event also included raffles, giveaways and an electronic bull riding competition for the cause. Atlantic Bay will continue its support of the MS Society by participating in the MS walk in Hampton Roads on April 9.

Development Manager for Walk MS Clare Lorio added,"I was honored to be part of their Pints for a Purpose event and to see Atlantic Bay exceed their goal of $10,000. This level of engagement will help the MS Society get one step closer to a 2017 fundraising goal of  $45 million dollars across the country, which will support the research for a cure as well as local individuals who are impacted by MS."
