A groundbreaking ceremony celebrated the start of construction for the new Virginia Beach Colocation Facility, with executives from site developer PointOne Development Corporation and special guests including Virginia Economic Development Partnership President and CEL Stephen Moret and Virginia Beach Mayor Bobby Dyer. PointOne leaders shared plans for its new multi-purpose cable landing station and “edge” computing data center facility, which will feature 31,000-square-feet state-of-the-art data centers, contributing to Virginia Beach’s growing reputation as a world-class data center hub.
