Something that sets you apart from the crowd?
I think what sets me apart from the crowd is how determined I am to succeed. I am an Air Force brat and have always been taught the importance of being hardworking, engaged and motivated to do good.
Tell us about a recent accomplishment that you’re proud of.
I am proud that I have been able to successfully balance working from home, while raising my 1-year-old daughter and building a house with my husband.
Most important aspect you look for in a workplace?
Respect and trust.
What would you be doing if you weren’t in your current position?
I would be working on opening a wedding/event planning business or pursuing my hobby of baking as a full-time job.
What new idea or development are you most excited about in Coastal Virginia right now?
I am excited for the opening of Guy Fieri’s two new restaurants in Hampton (Guy Fieri’s Pizza Parlor and Guy Fieri’s Dive and Taco Joint).
What do you think is Coastal Virginia’s biggest challenge?
Transportation between the Southside and the Peninsula.
Favorite place in Coastal Virginia to go on the weekends?
My favorite thing to do on the weekends is try new restaurants with my husband, Chris, and our daughter, Mila.
