On August 17, the Women in Defense Greater Hampton Roads (WIDGHR) chapter will be presenting the third annual Talk and Taste Networking Social at The Harbor Club at Norfolk's Waterside District. Attendees at this event will be provided with an opportunity to meet and engage in networking sessions with Hampton Roads’ defense professionals.
Since 1985, the mission of the Women in Defense has been to cultivate and support the advancement and recognition of women nationally. Members of this non-profit professional organization have careers related to the defense of the United States and national security in both government and industry capacities.
The event is from 5:30–8:30 p.m. and will cost $10 for advance admission for WIDGHR members and $15 for nonmembers. Admission at the door is $20. Registration is required. To sign up for the event or for more information, visit here.
