Farm Fresh Donates to The Salvation Army for H.O.P.E. Village

by Ryan Miller

On March 9, Farm Fresh Food & Pharmacy presented a check to The Salvation Army Hampton Roads Area Command in Norfolk to benefit H.O.P.E. Village. The charitable funds come at such an important time for The Salvation Army, after they recently lost funding for its women’s residence housing and providing resources for single women and women with children up to six month old.

Every year in the United States, The Salvation Army helps nearly 30 millions in communities all over through its social services ranging from providing food for the hungry, disaster relief, assistance for the disabled, outreach for the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter for the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children. With help from Farm Fresh, operating 40 grocery stores in Hampton Roads, Richmond, Va. and Elizabeth City, N.C., The Salvation Army can continue to help those in need with H.O.P.E. Village.
