by CoVaBizMag

Langley Federal Credit Union (LFCU), headquartered in Newport News, opened its third Virginia Beach branch in Town Center. The new branch, located at 4625 Virginia Beach Blvd., Suite 107, is the seventh Southside location and the 21st location in the region.

As part of the grand opening, Langley Federal Credit Union has partnered with Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters (CHKD), a multi-specialty health system offering comprehensive pediatric care for children from birth to age 21. For every new member who joins the credit union at the Town Center branch, LFCU will make a $100 donation (up to $4,000) to the expansion of CHKD’s mental health program. CHKD currently receives 15 to 20 mental health referrals each day from primary and specialty healthcare providers, and another three to five children arrive in the CHKD emergency department daily seeking crisis care for mental health disorders. The expansion will add 12 mental health beds in the current hospital within two years and a new mental health facility in four years.

The Town Center branch will provide full financial services to members. LFCU offers personal and business banking, mortgages, auto, RV and boat loans, student loans, insurance, investment services, credit cards, merchant services and online banking.
